The ideal solution to car jacking, and other violent criminal acts, is to shoot the attacker. This was demonstrated by a 17 year old in Metairie, La. where he protected himself and his mom. Good work, dude!

This week I’m in Logan, UT on a work related trip. By nature I am a homebody and don’t like being away. It’s Tuesday 6 am and I feel like I have been here for a month.
For the first time I took a handgun with me on a plane trip. My AZ concealed carry permit is good in Utah. My husband has done this many times. Surprisingly, it was not much of a hassle. Southwest airlines has a decent firearms policy. I locked the S&WAirweight in the “tupperware” it came in and I was done. I declared it when I checked in at Southwest, showed the ticket agent it was empty (he did not know how to open the cylinder).
