No More McDonalds in Prescott

Update 8/10/2008: The Daily Courier reports the Prescott McDonald’s is going to be rebuilt. The new building will have wireless internet, an improved drive through, and a more modern look. No timetable for completion was published.

Here’s an image taken with my little point and shoot Nikon Coolpix. The track hoe is demolishing the Prescott AZ McDonald’s restaurant. I wonder, did they mess up the order and really piss off the operator? That McDonald’s has messed up my order more than once. But I don’t know how to operate heavy equipment.

Very Good Digital Camera and Photoshop Tutorial Site

If you are interested in digital photography and Photoshop, check out this site that I stumbled across.

Not anther “cookbook” kind of site, rather it explains how digital cameras work and how the data they generate when they record light is affected by various camera settings. Also, the same data is manipulated by Photoshop in post processing. For the first time, I understand what a tone curve and an unsharp mask are.

He not only survived, he learned some positive truths about us. Perhaps our left wing politicians (are you listening, Sen. Obama?) should avail themselves of the same opportunity?

The big takeaway here is many antigunners are simply ignorant of the gun culture, guns, and shooters as people. They absorb and accept the antigun message from the mainstream media. It’s up to us to reverse this by taking people shooting who have never held a gun.
