This was taken from our patio. It’s 3 images, 2 EV (exposure value or f-stop) apart and then assembled into a high dynamic range (HDR) image using Photomatix software. There’s some misalignment in patio cover, other wise I really like this image.

turned out good! If you have photoshop I find that it aligns images a lot better than photomatix. Just save the PS file as a ‘Radiance’ file and then open that in photomatix to tone-map. That is how I get my hand-held HDRs to line up.

Thanks, Tom. I will try Photoshop next time. I could try both Photoshop and Photomatix on the same set of images, then compare the results.
