US Nationalizes 9 Major Banks: Welcome to Facism

From the Washington Post:

In pressing the bank executives to accept partial government ownership, Paulson’s message was clear: Though officially the program was voluntary, the banks had little choice in the matter. In exchange for giving the Treasury minority stakes, the nine firms would jointly receive an investment worth $125 billion. The government would make another $125 billion available for the next 30 days to thousands of other banks and thrifts across the country.

Read this description of facism. We be there. I still want my country back, but I become more pessimistic of this happening by the day. R.I.P. U.S.A.

Grandpa’s Reasons to Carry a Gun

Police Protection is an oxymoron.
Free citizens must protect themselves.
Police do not protect you from crime, they usually just investigate the crime after it happens,
And then call someone in to clean up the mess.
Personally, I carry a gun because I’m too young to die and too old to physically take take on a
Couple of thugs intent on mugging and robbing me!!
