Stuff, Junk, and Clutter

Here’s a great essay from Paul Graham about stuff. He writes “I have too much stuff. Most people in America do.” I totally agree. My home is overly cluttered with stuff. My husband is a serial buyer of stuff he has to have. I try to be a minimalist myself, but I do have some stuff I could do without. In recent years I have gotten much better at not buying.

In the article, the author also says “And unless you’re extremely organized, a house full of stuff can be very depressing. A cluttered room saps one’s spirits.” Amen to that, bro.

4/30 - This story seems to have been a hoax. I was fooled, but it was still funny.

When I saw this article about 2k Japanese women buying lambs thinking they were poodles, I was unable to stop laughing. I disturbed 2 of my coworkers, they wanted to know what was so funny and then they too could not stop laughing. The error was discovered when the lamb refused to eat dog food and did not bark.

Look at the pictures in the article. Do the photos of a lamb and a poodle look alike to you?
