For those who don’t know, AD = Accidental Discharge or “the gun just went off”.
Here’s the article. We would all be much safer if the Fed’s were disarmed!

inMy sympathies to the victims, their families and friends of the VTI massacre.
Once again a “lone lunatic” lashed out against innocents who were unfortunate enough to be nearby. And these victims were made more numerous by the political authorities who prohibited them from being equipped to defend themselves. You see VTI is a gun free zone like the other government schools were these mass murders took place. No responsible citizen was armed. Only the lone lunatic was. Would armed citizens have been able to prevent this tragedy? No. But there is a very good chance that an act of self defense or defense of another would have reduced the number of victims.
I’ve not heard this radical idea in any of the mainstream media. Instead I have heard hints that a gun bashing fest is about to be unleashed. Doesn’t any of the msm types realize that MURDER is already illegal?
Has the number of deeply disturbed folks increased over the years, or have they always been with us but in recent times become more violent? I cannot say for sure. But my feeling is they have always been around. Perhaps in the past such a person would have suffered quietly, or drowned their rage in drink or drugs, or quietly committed suicide. One cannot say.
I’m sad to say that I think we are watching the decline of western civilization in real time. I want my country back.
Here’s an article by Anthony Gregory on LewRockwell.com making this same point.

Not good news at all. The welfare-warfare-police state continues its metastasis. And just wait until us baby boomers go on welfare too. Yes, Social Security and Medicare are welfare programs.I don’t think anything short of an economic collapse will stop this thing.
I want my country back.

inUntil this past Sunday (4/15), my IDPA scoring code allowed for combining BUG and Noncompliant (say a cowboy style revolver or a carbine) into an IDPA scenario match along with the standard IDPA divisions (ssp, cdp, etc.). When displaying the Overall Match Results view, the BUG and Noncompliant divisions were dropped. They did appear on the Results by Division and Results by Division and Classification views.
No longer. Now all the divisions are in the Overall Match Results view. To separate out the BUG and Noncompliant divisons just create separate matches for them. This is a much cleaner approach.
All I had to do to make this change was to comment out the following line of code in idpa_controller.rb:
results.delete_if { | s | s.division == 'BUG' or s.division == 'NC' } unless results == nil
Isn’t ruby great? I also changed the title to not say “excluding BUG and noncompliant divisions”

inWe had our first ever IDPA night match at Yavapai Recreation League. It went more smoothly than I expected since it was the first one I have ever done. I’ll do a few differently next time, mostly concerning how flashlights are used:
Some safety issues I was concerned about beforehand were not problems.:
Many of the shooters realized they need to practice night shooting and flashlight techniques.
April Night Match scores are here.
This range has no lighting, nor electricity, nor running water. We do have porta-potties. This is rural Arizona, folks, and I like it.
