ComputerWorld has an interesting piece on top 10 trends in personal tech for 2008.

I like #2 (free wifi access), #3 (home robot using wifi to a computer for its brains) if this robot cleans, cooks and does laundry I will buy one – as long as the brains can be a Mac. Imaging a malware infested windows pc controlling a robot, it would spy on you and spam you.

In the other hand, #6 (gps everywhere) seems more like a nightmare. No way would I consent to be tracked by advertisers and worse. Cyber stalking could boom. I’ll pull the battery out of my cellphone if this happens. And #10 (tv on cell phone) I can hardly read the numbers and text on that tiny screen. No thanks.
