A mass killing in Japan was done by a madman with a knife. A knife! Not a gun. As I and others have been saying for years, it is not guns that are the problem. It’s the madmen, or evil in the world, or both. In the US these large scale murders have typically been carried out with guns, so the media and politicians scream for reducing our right to keep and bear arms. It’s not the gun, it’s the human being whose finger is on the trigger.
My sympathies go out to the families of the victims.

I just read an article from the UK that mentioned a rise in knife violence. The UK is now drafting more laws aimed at knife control. It seems they will never understand the real issue either.

cigarsmokingman – Yes, the hard left cannot let go of the fallacy of inanimate objects “causing” crime. To me, this just showcases their intellectual poverty. BTW, these are the same buffoons leading the “global warming” parade.

It’s funny I have said the same thing for years. People in prison have very little consistant access to guns and there are murders in prison all the time. If someone wants to kill another person not having a gun is not going to change it. They will find a way if they really want to.
If I put a loaded gun on the ground does it kill anyone? No it does not. This is the same reaction to the shark attacks in SoCal last month. Shut down the beach and hunt for the shark? C’mon people how are going to find it? Or “stunt” bear attacks stunt man. Why is this a shock? IT IS A BEAR!!! Not dog that has been domesitcated for thousands of years.
People don’t look @ reality some times…
