male ladder backed woodpecker
This male ladder backed woodpecker is hunting for insects on our Ponderosa pine tree. The female does not have the red cap on her head. Last year I saw these often but have not seen any for a while until today. Click on image for a larger view.

Gary and I are taking a Photoshop class (Art 137) at Yavapai College this semester. I’m learning a lot. And I have not been a college student for about 30 years. Yavapai College has a new portal called my_yc that gives students access to all their stuff in one place. We wanted to be able to upload our homework via this portal, but we were told that was not available. Well, now it is since yours truely figured out how to do it. I created a graphical how-to, which can be seen here. For doing this, YC gave me a project team tee shirt.
