Large Brown Spider
I saw this rather large spider on my porch. It’s about 3/8 of an inch excluding the legs. I have no idea what type of spider it might be, but it was willing to pose for me. Click on it for a larger image.

This is a cat faced spider. It’s called that because of the “ears” on the back of it. We have them in washington state.

I haven’t seen one like it for a while, maybe in the spring when they become active.
