We had a bit of snow Christmas Week in Prescott, Az. I took these from my office window with my Nikon Coolpix point and shoot. Converted all but 1 to black and white in Lightroom. If you feel cold looking at these, that’s the point.

I think Prescott has gotten more snow this year than we’ve had here in Keeene, New Hampshire!
The black&white conversion was a good call; really adds to the mood. And I really need to get Lightroom. Maybe Santa will be nice to me….

Hi Dagny,
Nice photos! Just want to let you know that there’s lots of folks in love with Prescott and environs.
I’m from back east (Pittsburgh, PA area) and have always looked forward to “White Christmases,” which are few and far between anymore. I just returned from my annual trip back there for the holidays with friends and family.
A great way to get into a “Christmas Mood” (at least for my) is to drive up to Prescott for the courthouse square tree lighting and parade, and Acker Days the following weekend.
I’m flying back to Sun City this weekend, and will be up to Prescott again soon. You folks have a great micro brewery there, the Prescott Brewery across from couthouse square – great food, beers, and atmosphere.
Just wanted to let you know your webiste is appreciated.
Happy New Year!

I’m still back home in Rockford, Illinois and will be returning to Sun City this weekend.

Thanks for the comment, Gordy. I too really enjoy the the Christmas season here. It’s the biggest visitor draw for Prescott. The 4th of July Rodeo is the biggest single event.
