It’s civil rights day 2011, 1/17/2011. Some call this Martin Luther King day. That’s OK. As a government worker I have a paid day off today – thanks MLK!
Here’s a video of Allen B. West, a retired military officer and a black man, speaking about how our Right to Keep and Bear arms is the right that protects all our other civil rights. He gives historical examples of nations where enslavement followed gun confiscation.

“Looking back on 2,500 years, there are examples where climate change impacted human history,” co-author Ulf Buntgen, a paleoclimatologist at the Swiss Federal Research Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape, told the Science website.
Hmm … It seems the Romans drove too many large SUV’s and pickup trucks. And ran too many air conditioners. Wait a second, these wonderful things did not exist in Roman times. How could the climate change then? The human caused global climate change theory cannot explain this. Maybe it’s just BS?
