On Thanksgiving Day 2011 we had real November weather in Prescott, Az. Dark, deep gray sky. Wind had taken down most of the leaves earlier, and now the trees look ready for winter.
I grew up in the Bronx and this is the weather I remember for Thanksgiving.

Today we are having our Thanksgiving meal with several friends. Two people were going to come up from Phoenix to join the group, they had to cancel as one is no feeling well. We wish him a quick recovery. I am thankful for the people we will get to eat with and visit with today.
