On our walk this evening sleet started falling, when we were at the furthest point out. I tried to hurry the pack along but no, they had serious sniffing to do.
In the photo you can see the sleet on Annie’s back. She is very well insulated and the sleet does not melt quickly. Winter friendly dog.

Do you find days with an overcast sky put you in a melancholy mood? I was talking with an old friend on Sunday and this came up. I like these days, they are a welcome break from the bright sun we often have in the southwest. They feel a little calmer, a little slower. I like calm.
