I took this strange image with my Android phone. It’s a full moon setting, shot through a window. You can see reflected in the window objects in the room.

I had to work today, unusual as I normally work 4 ten hour days Monday through Thursday. I was doing an update on a production system whose primary users don’t work Fridays either. Anyway, it turned out to be a truly ugly day. The kind that gives one gray hair, and I already have lots of “silver highlights”.
When I got home and sat out on the patio for a bit, Annie came over and kept asking for attention by pushing against me with her head. I petted her and we both felt better. Then Suzie jumped up into my lap, and we shared some affection. In not much time the screaming headache I came home with subsided. No drugs involved. Thanks, dogs, for helping me today. My mental well being improved dramatically. They showed me what is important. All I had to do was pay attention.
