Rainy Morning

A rainy morning in Prescott, Az. Folks like me who live in arid climates like these rare days.
In this android phone photo, I tried to focus on the rain drops on the window and blur the background. Easy to do with a DSLR – open the aperature (low f stop number) and use manual focus. The same effect is tricky to get with a phone camera. I set the scene to close up, got it to focus on the window sill, reframed to the rain drops on the window.

Activity at Rodeo Grounds

Lots of activity at the Prescott Rodeo grounds. Big tent, horse trailers. I don’t know what event is upcoming, but we are expecting rain tonight and tomorrow.

Dogs with Their Dental Chews

Three of our four dogs really love to chew. We give them each a dental chew, which is a rawhide piece with some treatment for teeth added.

Gary in a Tree

Today was a yard work day around the place.  The big task was tree pruning, and here is Gary in a tree. He climbed up to reach limbs that were a problem. When it snows, those limbs bend over from the snow load and rest on our neighbor’s electric line. So today we remedied the situation. And Gary thought he was done with hard work when he retired 🙂
