Memorial Day Prescott Az

We attended the Memorial Day observance at Citizens Cemetery in Prescott Az. In this photo the honor guard is placing a wreath at the flag pole.  They used a 48 star flag because Az is the 48th state. It was a very nice observance, with military veterans, mounted cavalry, gun salutes, elected officials dressed in period costumes. We enjoyed doing something appropriate, and enjoyable, on this holiday.
