The dirt work is done. They are finishing the footers, which have steel reinforcing rods inside the concrete. A building inspector from the city will check and approve this work before concrete can be poured.
Stacy, one of our rat terriers, fell into the trench last night. She climbed out on her own, no harm done. Will she look where she’s stepping next time? Maybe.
