Some clouds seen lunchtime. More rain? Maybe. We had lots of rain last night, plus a power outage of about an hour. Internet and cable tv did not come back on until this morning.

We photographed a 25th anniversary party for friends. Here are people dancing, hand held at 1/2 second. I like the effects of the laser dots, children moving quickly in the foreground and becoming ghosts, and the overall blur from camera shake.

Patio Cover

Our room addition project called The Barn progresses. Here you see the patio cover has been installed (still has some scaffolding on it). Also primer has been applied to The Barn this week.

Room Addition: Evaporative Cooler

The gray box in the photo is our new evaporative cooler, which will work with the new duct work to cool the entire house – when the humidity is low. We also bought a central a/c unit to use when it’s too humid for the evap. A crew has been putting shingles on the roof. And the lumber arrived for our patio cover. The project should be completed next month. We are ready.

Az monsoon clouds over the rodeo grounds in Prescott, Az. We got a little bit of rain yesterday afternoon, and quite a lot Sunday night. All good, we who live in the desert appreciate any rain. This has been a decent monsoon season here. Much of the US is having a drought, we’re getting normal weather.
