Rat terrier Suzie is hunting for something in the ground cover behind a shed. She heard or smelled prey and dove into the area. She kept at it for quite some time. I was hoping to see her pop up with a field mouse, but this hunt was not successful.

I did not know rabies has a day.
Now I do, and so do you!

I feel I should share something of substance about rabies prevention. Our dogs are current on their shots, of course. I’ve seen newspaper stories over the years about hikers and campers encountering rabid foxes, bobcats, even mountain lions in Yavapai county. IMHO, a problem that can be handled with common sense – avoid wildlife behaving strangely, and carry a firearm that you know how to use.

Cubicle Hack

In the new building my job was moved to, the cubicle (and I despise cubicles!) I am stuck with had a morning sun glare problem. So here is the cubicle hack I devised. A piece of foam board, a pair of 3 inch C clamps, a bit of tape, a few cube fabric hangers: problem fixed.

Sounds like the beginning of a joke, but no. Gary, on the right, and his friend Charley installing a photo background holder. The ceiling is 12 feet high. Thankfully no one fell.
