It’s 9/11. I’m pausing for a moment to honor those who fell 9/11/2001.
When I think of what happened since then: 2 undeclared wars at a huge cost in lives and treasure and my country lurching towards becoming a police state. The action is the reaction as the cultural Marxists say.
I hope I can avoid seeing reruns of the airliners crashing into the towers. Enough of that.

While visiting my mom in CondoLand (a.k.a) Tamarac, Fl mom, my brother Steve, and your blogger took a ride to a wild animal park call Lion Country Safari in Loxahatchee, Fl. This would have been about an hour and a half drive if we had not gotten lost in a construction detour. Yes, I was driving in an unfamiliar area. And the battery went dead in my phone that I was using to navigate with. An adventure.
The park was interesting, one drives through a set of areas that have African animals. The lions were in the shade a distance from the roadway, I was not able to photograph them with my phone.
