This Sunday 10/7/2012 is the annual Dogtoberfest in Prescott Az. 10 am to 3 pm at the courthouse square. Details here.
This should be a fun day, and the weather here has been quite nice.

Walking by the Prescott High School late morning today I saw that the gates were closed and locked up, yet the parking lots were full. Then I remembered that the campus is closed during the school day for freshmen. Next year this will be the case for freshmen and sophomores, then juniors the next year, etc, until the campus is completely closed. As a neighbor of PHS I think this is good. But the school looks a whole lot like a prison with the locked fence.
