The other day I blogged a photo of our Granny Smith apples on the tree. They are there no longer. I picked them on Monday, we have about 20 pounds of apples. Pictured is one that I’m eating as I type. This year’s crop is very tasty, tart but not overpoweringly so. I left them on the tree until fully ripe. I gave a bag of them to good friend Anne, I’ll share a couple more bags, use some myself, then they will be gone until next year.
