Our Jeep failed to start in the Safeway parking lot Monday evening. It’s fixed now. The battery had failed so badly that jump starting failed.
Had I known it was just the battery, I would have bought one at an auto parts store, popped it in, and off we’d go. Oh well.
The Jeep was towed to Central Az Auto Techs (highly recommended) where they figured it out and fixed it. We have towing coverage on our car insurance and so we’ll see how much of the towing charge this will cover.
Years ago something as common and trivial as a car problem would have really upset me. Not this time, though I was concerned about a potentially big expense. I was able to let the anger and anxiety go before they took root and took over. I’m happier about this than I am over avoiding a big expense.
