Saturday 11/24/2012 is Small Business Saturday. The Prescott Chamber of Commerce says “Keep your holiday shopping local and shop Saturday, Nov. 24 during Small Business Saturday.” OK, we spend just shy of $300 at our veterinarian’s office this morning. One of the dogs (Lacy) is ill. An exam, a couple of blood tests, 2 scripts. The vet’s office is a local business. Gary bought a power strip at Miller Valley Hardware, and I’m going to the Honey Man later today.

The Daily Courier has a nice schedule of Christmas activities here. The courthouse lighting ceremony, one of my favorites, is on Saturday December 1st at 6 pm. And the Acker Musical Showcase happens Friday December 7th 5:30 – 8:30 pm
