I made a pot roast in my Presto pressure cooker for dinner tonight. A good meal for a chilly night. I cook the 3 pound roast with 2 sweet onions for 1 hour, and I steamed carrots and red potatoes to go with it.

My mother-in-law was a big fan of pressure cookers. I used her recipe for the pot roast. The down side of my mother-in-law recipes is should I try a variation on it, Gary most always says he likes the original better.
