Today is Winter Solstice, the beginning of winter – it’s 47 degrees and we had some sun this afternoon, no real winter here – and the shortest day of the year. I always felt the shortest day of the year was the last day of the longest vacation taken during the year. But that’s just in my head.
Some people, including an old friend of mine who lives full time in a motorhome, share a recap of the year that’s coming to a close. I don’t think I want to do that, so I’ll say Happy Solstice to all.
