My Old Lincoln
My 1989 Lincoln Town Car decided that today would not be a good day to start. I put it on the battery charger, it did start later in the day. I think the fuel pump in the gas tank is running even when the car is not, if so a relay has failed. The plastic milk crate is there because the hood does not stay open anymore. Off to the mechanic on Monday. We have 2 other cars, which is handy when they’re all getting older.

Old cars are pain in the ass always needing something repaired replace or adjusted. Still new cars are expensive and repairs are expensive and not do it yourself things anymore. Wish you well with yours my old car has issues too.

could you put in a switch to disconnect the battery when not in use?? Not connected can not drain..

There’s a relay that supposed to do just that. Hopefully replacing it will solve the problem …
