I’m Retired!

Today was my last day at Yavapai County. Tomorrow is my first day of retirement.

And does it feel strange!  I have worked by whole adult life. Up until now.

There are people I will miss, but I will not miss the daily routine or work nor getting up at 4:30 am.

Aunt Mary’s Memorial in Florence, Az

On Sunday we went to a memorial for Gary’s aunt Mary who passed away this winter. It was held in the  Kokopelli Moon Saloon in Florence, Az which is owned by Gary’s cousin Matt.

 

 

Florence, Az is located in the desert east of Phoenix. We stopped at a rest area near Coolige, Az where I took this photo of the desert.
