First, fellow Prescottonian Gabe Suarez:
There is only one group of people on earth who resort to violence when someone disagrees with them, thinks their ways are backwards, and refuses to adopt the culture of the nations who welcome them and whose blood they like to suck on.
Any guesses who that might f*cking be?
And Patrick “Pitchfork Pat” Buchanan:
The massacre in Paris of the staff of the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo was an act of terrorism, but also a successful act of war in the clash of civilizations between Islamism and the West.
Nor were we lacking for warning signs.

John Robb:
The attack wasn’t a generic attack on a population center. It was very specific. It was an attack on French secularism, accomplished by passing judgement on the people who promote it. For example, the jihadis asked for specific people at the magazine by name when they arrived.

All religionists hate and fear ridicule and sarcasm as it pierces through the bullshit and shows how ridiculous religion is. There is a nugget of truth in the above as many muslims feel justified to kill for the honor of their prophet and believe they will enter paradise and be rewarded. Over the centuries other religions have done the same stupid thing and continue to do the same stupid thing. It seems there is a flaw in the human psyche that believes that their sky pal is better than anyone else’s sky pal and everyone should obey their sky pal as they interpret what their fav sky pal supposedly says. Until humanity matures and does away with the supernatural these events will go on and on.
JMHO YMMV
