This Christmas we’ll be treated to a full moon. The last Christmas to have one was in 1977.
1977 was the year I graduated from college and moved from upstate NY to Phoenix, so that was a big year for me. I cannot, however, recall the phase of the moon that Christmas.

Today there was only 1 cat to photograph at the Yavapai Humane Society, Bootsy, who is available for adoption. There are other available cats or course, but just 1 new one that needed a photo. This is good, it means the homeless cat population is going down.
We had snow in Prescott yesterday and the roads were caked with snow and ice today. Our street has seen a snowplow only a few times over the years, winter street and road maintenance is a sometimes thing in Prescott and Yavapai County. Especially on small residential streets. We do have snow and ice, but not all winter like they have in New England or the upper Midwest.
