I completely love this photo! I was laying on the ground shooting low angle photos of the dogs. Stacy came up to me and started licking my face. I held the camera at arm’s length and shot a few frames, the best of which is this one.

It’s leap day (Feb 29th) but this Az Elm tree thinks it is spring. Green leaves are popping out all over Prescott, Az.

It’s February 29th, leap day. 2016 is a leap year, so this day is added to February. This to keep the calendar synced with the movements of the solar system, which inconveniently does not complete an astronomical year in an even number of days.

Leap year occurs almost every 4 years. For more details than you ever wanted to know, here’s the Wikipedia entry.

I walked past a parked car and noticed a large collection of eye glasses in a heap on the dashboard. A hat, a cell phone, some other electronics and St Patricks day looking items completes the inventory.
