Gary used photos of Jasmine (black) and Stella (white) to create this pseudo magazine cover in Photoshop. Pseudo sounds much better than fake, doesn’t it?
Stella did a great job of posing in the studio. I bounced a tennis ball, her eyes followed it. Jasmine looked at the ball from time to time but was disinterested more than not. The trick is to take a lot of photos to get a few with the look or expression you want.

Diane and Neil came by to have their dogs Jasmine (black) and Stella (white) photographed. Here they are walking the dogs, Gary is shooting them. Gary took most of the photos in his studio, I’ll post a few after he post-processes them.
It was a fun shoot. Diane is a fellow volunteer at the Yavapai Humane Society.

A busy cat photography day at the Yavapai Humane Society today. 5 kittens, all from the same litter, and 6 adult cats need photos. The kittens were fun to handle, but they have very sharp claws!
