PeeWee, so named because he weighs in at 4 pounds and is fully grown, is available for adoption at the Yavapai Humane Society. A friendly fellow, he likes to sit on laps and be petted. PeeWee is the last of a group of chihuahuas that came from Flagstaff where they belonged to an older owner who became unable to care for them. These dogs spent their lives indoors, and never walked on a leash. We think they never went out at all so he will need some work in this area.
PeeWee has only a few teeth, the others were bad and had to be extracted. He eats soft food and treats. When he first arrived he was very fearful and growled at everyone. He’s much better now, I picked him up and petted him with no growling.
