The Yavapai Humane Society just got 9 small dogs and puppies (small dog breeds) from Maricopa County (Phoenix area). Many of the shelters in AZ regularly exchange dogs or move dogs to areas where they have a good chance at being adopted. YHS in Prescott, Az see a big demand for small breed dogs. The “C” kennel (partially pictured here) gets emptied on most Saturdays.
