A cooper’s hawk visited our Prescott, AZ front yard today looking for a dove to eat for breakfast. Gary and I were finishing a meal when the dogs alerted to the front window. Many birds enjoying our feeders and bird bath all made a panic exit when the hawk came by. It flew off with empty talons this time.

The raccoons had a family gathering in our Prescott yard. A late Thanksgiving perhaps? There were 5 in a single photo taken by our motion triggered trail camera, this is the most we have seen at one time. Of course we don’t know if there were more outside the view of the camera.
Oh, by the way their antics on our front porch woke me up last night.
