Gary and I had dinner with new friends Jill and Jeremy. They are in the process of moving to Prescott from the midwest. Jill had been researching this area online and found this blog. She and I had some email conversations and we decided to meet for dinner when they were in town.
It’s interesting to meet people who read this blog. I often wonder who is out there, and what they get from reading and viewing the photos. I know I have some readers whom I knew before I started this blog, and for them it’s a way to see what I’m up to. BTW I’m not a Facebook user, but Gary is. And I know many people use Facebook to keep up. I just hope they didn’t invest too much in the Facebook IPO last week 🙂
Note to bloggers: Tag, tag, tag your posts. That’s how your work gets discovered.

inUpdate: Gary decided to use WordPress instead of Blogger.
Gary has started a blog called Prescott Shooters. It’s about firearms, shooting (bullets, not images), RKBA, and related subjects. He’s going to post lots of photos, some of which are photoshopped. Check it out.

inTombo has tagged me with: Go to the sixth folder of pictures on your computer, and pick the sixth pic. That’s it (I hope!). Then tag six others.
Here’s my 6th 6th image. It was taken at the Fry’s on Fair St. When I got there all were standing outside, a smoke alarm went off. No shopping that day.

Google knows all. Well, not quite but it is great for getting information that can be mechanically searched for. Today I needed to spell the word facetious. I first tried OS X Leopard’s built in dictionary, but my first guess was too far off. So I tried a few approximations in a google search and it found the spelling and definition. Cool. And useful.
