older drivers, prescott az

This happened in Prescott Valley, the next town to the east of Prescott. But it captures the reality that we have a large number of senior citizens here and most of them drive. Often quite badly.

A 101 year old woman was run over, and later died, by an 83 year old woman in a Fry’s grocery store parking lot on senior discount day (1st Wednesday of each month). Link

We went to Mountain View Park in Prescott Valley to scout out new places to shoot outdoor portraits and dog photos. And we saw some cute ducklings in a lake at the park.

Fain Lake, Prescott Valley Az

The Town of Prescott Valley, Az has drained Fain Lake to clear it of sediment. We went to see it today, it looks very freaky. The park is closed until mid-March, if you want to see the lake you can hike in along Lynx Creek from the overpass on Stone Ridge. The trail is pretty easy, and the rattlesnakes are hibernating this time of year.
