A spotted towhee using the bird bath in our Prescott Az yard. I must have startled it when I took the photos as a few drops of water are flying.
Happy Summer Solstice! Today is the first day of summer, and the longest day of the year.
We in Prescott have had great weather this spring. Cool temperatures, even some extra rainfall. It was the nicest spring I remember, and I’ve been in Az since 1977. My husband Gary is a native of Prescott and he agrees.
We are hoping for a wet, cooler than normal monsoon season. And no forest fires!
We went to the Five In The Wheel concert in downtown Prescott last night. It was quite good, lots of rock and roll music.
A couple of raccoons by the ponderosa pine tree in our Prescott front yard, recorded by our trail/game camera during the night. It’s interesting to see the wildlife activity that takes place when we are sleeping.
