I found a few yellow cottonwood tree leaves in the yard this afternoon. It’s only Sept 10. And there are too many cicadas around to feel like fall. Still, it’s a nice preview of autumn.

I just stepped outside. 3:50 Pm, and it’s … chilly. 71 degrees, 5 mph wind from the southwest (per http://www.wunderground.com/US/AZ/Prescott.html) and it felt chilly. When was the last time I felt chilly outside when it was not raining? Months ago. Before summer. This is a hint of things to come. Autumn. Fall. My favorite time of year. Beautiful.
