If you bite your person, you wind up in bite quarantine at the shelter. Just don’t do it!
Today I took cat adoption photos at the Yavapai Humane Society in Prescott, AZ. Once in a while we get a cat that is very shy or frightened and presents a challenge to get a good photo. The adoption photos serve to generate interest in an animal from potential adopters and is a first step in “selling a used cat”. The cat’s personality, of course, is what makes the adoption.
After sitting with Trixie for a bit, I was able to get him out from under the towel for some photos. Surprisingly, he like being touched.
This drama took place in a neighbor’s yard this morning. I’ve seen it played out a few times, today I got my camera in time to shoot it.
A cat climbed an apple tree …
And on the other side of the wall was Keda,
Who was not happy about the situation. “There’s a freakin’ cat up there, a real live cat. On the other side of the wall! Damn, I want to jump this wall and get that cat. Why is the good stuff always on the other side of a fence?”
