The Yavapai Digital Foto Club had a photo safari last night. This is where club members gather to photograph a theme or work with a technique together. Last night’s theme was painting with light. In the dark one puts the camera on a tripod, sets up the shot using manual settings, opens the shutter, then illuminates the subject with a flashlight. It is a trial and error process. I got a few interesting shots plus a whole lot of images to delete. The experience was fun, I had never tried it before. Here are the ones I liked.
And to make the photo safari even more interesting, it was done in a cemetery.
