We had an AZ monsoon thunderstorm in Prescott, AZ this afternoon. I got a photo of a lightning bolt, and one of Gary tying down a tall tomato container plant that almost got thrown over by wind.

I planted my container garden today. Last year I got a lot of tomatoes and cucumbers, so I planted the same this year. I am trying 2 tomato plants in one container this year.

Tomato Plants Recovering

I had lots of problems with my tomato plants this year. Now it looks like they are recovering. This one has fruit on it, another has some flowers that hopefully will become tomatoes.

A Poor Tomato Crop This Year

Our tomato crop is rather poor this year. A few tiny ones. The ones I first planted froze, and then I waited a while to replant. Hopefully next year’s crop will be better.
