Coyote checking me out.
Taken at Willow Lake in Prescott, AZ on Friday 11/25/2022 to walk off my Thanksgiving meal and to bird.
The coyote is the first image I got of one with a “real” camera – not my trail cameras. Kind of interesting as I have lived in AZ since 1977 and coyotes are common. This one was very close to me, the images are slightly cropped 500mm lens. It was not aggressive at all, if I was walking my small dogs I would have been concerned.

A coyote in our Prescott, AZ front yard at night. We will no longer give our small dogs access to the back yard at night as a coyote could easily jump the fence.

First coyote photo I got on the trail / game camera in our Prescott, AZ front yard. I think it was hunting for roaming house cats as well as drinking from the bird bath.

Coyote! On our trail/game camera in Prescott. This is the first coyote I’ve seen around the house in years.
