Yesterday at the Yavapai Humane Society I handled dogs for photos. Quinn, a really nice medium size dog, was startled by the strobe lights. So he decided to take cover behind my legs.

UPDATE: Quinn was returned to his owner! The people were out of town and Quinn likely ran off. Friends told them their dog was at YHS. Quinn was overjoyed to be reunited with his people!

Eessy

Eessy has a story. She was left at the door of YHS in critical medical condition with a note to please help her. The person could not afford to take her to the vet.
Thanks to whomever you are! You did the right thing, YHS medical staff operated on her and now she is well and ready for a permanent home.
BTW she is a sweet dog!

Small dogs at YHS

Small dog kennel, called the “C” kennel, filled with small dogs for adoption at the Yavapai Humane Society in Prescott. People often ask me if YHS has small dogs. Right now we do, we got a van load of them from Maricopa county.
They will be adopted quickly.
