Stacy (left) eats slowly, Suzie gobbles. Suzie wants to charge Stacy, push her off her bowl and devour her food. She turns her head to the side to hide her intentions.
I generally stand between them at feeding time to thwart theft and fighting.

Watch Suzie, our rat terrier, as she follows every bite that Annie (lab) eats. Annie is elderly and we often have to coax her to eat – very un-lab like. If Annie drops any food Suzie zooms in and grabs it.
