I took both of these this morning in our yard. Shot with a Nikkor 200mm macro lens, D600 camera. I took multiple shots with varying focus points and then focus stacked them in Photoshop to get a much deeper depth of field than the macro lens gets for each one.
The first 2 were taken though a fence, they are on a neighbor’s property:
And some dandelions in our yard. I got these photos before Gary could spray these to get rid of them, they are not his favorite plant. He sees them as weeds, but they can be used for a tea and for making dandelion wine. When I was growing up in the Bronx there was a vacant, trash strewn lot across the street from the tenement we lived in. In spring it was loaded with dandelions, some of our neighbors would pick the flower pedals and make wine from these. This struck me as really gross because every dog in the area urinated on those plants.
