Tomatoes starting to appear on the plant I started early this spring. I had to take it inside on many nights when the temperature was getting low – an advantage to a container garden.

Our garden has begun. We have 2 tomato plants in containers. Stacy is guarding the crop.

The other day I blogged a photo of our Granny Smith apples on the tree. They are there no longer. I picked them on Monday, we have about 20 pounds of apples. Pictured is one that I’m eating as I type. This year’s crop is very tasty, tart but not overpoweringly so. I left them on the tree until fully ripe. I gave a bag of them to good friend Anne, I’ll share a couple more bags, use some myself, then they will be gone until next year.
