My 1997 Jeep Cherokee, which I bought new in March 1997, has 126,000 miles on it. I’ve owned it for 23 years.
Oh, and I had a large repair bill this month and a huge one a few months ago so it and I are not on the best of terms at the moment.
If anyone is wondering, I took these photos when the Jeep was not moving 🙂

This is where the battery goes in my 1997 Jeep. It’s missing because it died. Thankfully, the death occurred in our driveway. A trip to AutoZone where the tester indicated the battery was putting out 8 volts, leaving 4 missing and unaccounted for. Now there’s a nice new battery in its place.
The old battery was bought in 2012. It had a 3 year warranty that just expired. Funny how that works, or doesn’t.

My 1997 Jeep has 102K miles on it, exactly. Or it did when I took this photo with my phone. I bought it new in ’97 and it has been a good vehicle.
