We rented The Oranges yesterday. A very good movie! It’s a rich story about 2 families who are long term friends and live across the street from each other. An event impacts the lives of all. No violence, no shootings, no crimes, no special effects. Just life. Highly recommended!

Real facts about Lincoln. The article mentions a book by Thomas J. DiLorenzo: The Real Lincoln which I have read and recommend. If you went to a government school and were taught Lincoln myths you will be shocked when you read the truth.

We rented a very good movie Safety Not Guaranteed the other night. It’s about a guy who is building a time travel machine and places a classified ad looking for someone to accompany him. Most people think he is crazy, government agents who follow him think he is a spy. Not a special effects movie. A very good story with quirky character. Recommended!
We see movies quite often, most of them are pretty lame. I’ll post my thoughts on exceptional ones, either good or bad.
